Media accreditation system
Prototype with a sports club for media outlets to request accreditation to events and for entry to be controlled.
What was needed
Accreditations for matches and press conferences are handled with email lists and spreadsheets. The club wanted a system with orderly registration and a history.
What we are building
It is a prototype that I develop together with the client and that is not in production yet. It has three types of user:
- Administrator: creates the events with their date and accreditation closing date, registers the media outlets (television, radio and others) and assigns them quotas. They can change an outlet’s quota for a specific event.
- Accredited media: registers their staff for each event, with photo, ID number (cédula), first names, last names and role.
- Verifier: confirms each person’s entry with the check-in.
The panel shows how many quota slots each outlet has used and lets you download the registered people as CSV. It is built with Laravel.
Status
We are validating it with the client and will adjust it with their feedback before moving to production.
