Geekguayaco site with Astro
Static site with technical SEO, a blog and cases in Markdown, an island for the form and deployment on Cloudflare.
Astro generates static HTML pages and loads JavaScript only in the components that need it. I use it for services sites, portfolios, landing pages and blogs, where speed and SEO matter.
This Geekguayaco site is built with Astro, with the content in Markdown and published on Cloudflare.
Static pages that load fast and can be read in full from the first byte, search engines included.
Titles and descriptions per page, canonical URLs, sitemap, structured data and RSS generated at build time.
Conversion to modern formats, responsive sizes and fixed dimensions to avoid layout shifts.
Forms, carousels or search as isolated components, without loading JavaScript on the rest of the page.
Blog and projects in Markdown inside the repository, with no database or panel to maintain.
Automatic publishing from the repository and functions for forms, with no server to manage.

Astro makes sense when the content changes little or a developer manages it, and performance and SEO are the priority. WordPress makes sense when your team needs to edit content every day from a panel. I work with both and recommend one depending on the case.
On an Astro site the content lives in Markdown files. It is simple, but it needs a repository workflow. If you need a visual panel to edit, WordPress is the better option.
Yes. The form is an interactive island that sends the data to a Cloudflare function, which forwards the message to your email.
Good performance and correct technical SEO help, but rankings also depend on content, competition and time. I don't promise positions; what I deliver is a technically well-built site.
