Mobile app development

I choose the technology based on what the project calls for: Flutter and Dart for most business apps, native with Swift and Kotlin when deep platform access is needed, and React Native when it is the best option. The apps I have published so far are built with Flutter: one for payments and warehouse management, and another for live streaming.

If the app needs a backend, I build it myself with Laravel. The app, the web portal and the admin use the same accounts and the same data.

What's included

The technology the project calls for

Flutter and Dart for a single app on Android and iOS. Native with Swift and Kotlin when the app depends on platform features. React Native when it fits your case better.

Online payments

Integration with payment gateways to check balances, rent and pay from the phone.

Video and streaming

Live video playback and editorial content inside the app.

Connection to your system

Calls to your backend APIs, with the same user account as your web portal.

Store publishing

Preparation and submission to the App Store and Play Store, and later updates.

Games and activations

Lightweight apps for campaigns and events, such as reaction-time games.

When it makes sense

  • You want the same app on Android and iOS without paying for two developments.
  • Your customers need to check their account or pay from their phone.
  • You need an app for a campaign or activation with a fixed date.
  • You already have a web system and want the app too.

How I work

  1. Understand the problem

We talk about your operation, your users and what isn't working today.

  2. Agree on the scope

We define a first version with the essentials, timelines and way of working.

  3. Build in deliveries

Partial deliveries you can test and correct.

  4. Launch and support

Release, training and support so the system keeps running.

Frequently asked questions

Flutter, native or React Native?

It depends on what the app does. For most business apps, Flutter lets you launch on Android and iOS with one codebase and one team. Native development with Swift and Kotlin makes sense when the app depends on very specific platform features. React Native is an option when it fits your project or the team that will maintain it better. We evaluate it with your case before deciding.

Do you publish the app on the App Store and Play Store?

Yes. I handle the publishing process on both stores and the later updates. The developer accounts must be in your company's name.

Can the app use my current system?

Yes, if your system exposes an API or can be made to. If not, we build that API in the backend, normally with Laravel.

How long does an app take?

It depends on the scope. It is almost always better to launch a first version with the essentials and adjust it with real use. I give you an estimate once I know the screens and the integrations.
