What was needed
Attract visitors to the booth of a shrimp genetic improvement company at Aquaexpo El Oro 2026 and capture their contact details.
What I built
A football trivia for the World Cup, made in plain JavaScript: a single HTML file and one class that runs the game, with no frameworks or build step. Participants register with their name, company, contact and business details, and a PHP API with MySQL stores that data and their score when they finish. There are 4 questions, and whoever gets them all right wins the Golden Boot. An admin panel lets you review the registrations.
Result
It was used at Aquaexpo El Oro 2026 to collect contacts at the booth.
