Citybox Minibodegas app
Mobile app to choose a location, rent a storage unit and pay online with Datafast. Version 1 is still published and a new version is in the works.
What was needed
Let tenants manage their storage unit without calling or going to the office.
What I built
The first version of the app, in Flutter. You log in with a username and password, choose the location (Kennedy, Samborondón or Quito) and see each unit size with its availability and price. Then you pick the floor and the unit on a map showing the free units, and before paying the app shows the breakdown: unit price, prorated month, registration fee, VAT and total. Payment is made by card through the Datafast gateway. It also lets you see the account statement and the door code.
It uses the same backend as the web payment portal.
Status
Version 1 was published a couple of years ago and is still available on the App Store and Play Store. I am now working on a major update, with a more modern design.
